Project description: The Laytonville High School Biology classes are working to produce and publish a paperback guide of the local flora. This "Local Guide to our Flora" will be extremely useful to residents and tourists alike to identify all the commonly found flowers, ferns, shrubs, and trees in our area. They plan to include a color ID, common and botanical names, photos, and descriptions of the various plants. With their database about 50% complete, it may be complete by the summer of 2004.
