Project description: The Laytonville High School has developed a team of musicians united together into a band, who perform contemporary and classic rock music. This rock band has performed at many local venues, where audiences come away impressed by the talent of our student musicians, and create a sense of community pride.

Through the support of NCRCN, this band has had the opportunity to "tour on the road", bringing the band to other NCRCN schools to entertain and inspire. Students become involved in their own learning - it offers the experience of planning and promoting their performance, moving and setting up equipment, the thrill of performing, and group negotiation and dynamic skills. It also gives students from different schools the chance to interact outside of competitive events, inspiring other young musicians to play the music they love.
